SUHSD Teachers, you are invited to a hands-on technology conference designed and conducted by our own SUHSD teachers.  Here is your chance to discuss, learn and practice in a supportive, hands-on environment.  Sign-up only for the sessions you want.  Space is limited.  You will be paid for each session you attend.  Sorry... you can not be paid for breakfast, lunch or breaks.
Chromebooks will be provided if you need one, but it is encouraged to bring your own.

  • The Grid view, under the word Schedule, may help you visualize the time of the workshops.
  • Once you log-in with your district email account, click on the little circle to the left of the session name to reserve a seat.
  • To verify the workshops you signed up for, click on My Sched under EdTech circle (upper-right).

Description:
There are two powerful methods in how your students can see and earn their final grades... Rubrics and Standards. We use rubrics and Standards to help our students understand where they are and where they need to grow to succeed in your class. We will look at both methods by what a student/parent sees and how it can help your students accurately see their strengths and weakness.

Objectives:
  • Participants will be able to use and create rubrics while grading assignments and see what it looks like for a student/parent.
  • Participants will be able to set their grade book to grade by Standards and and see what it looks like for a student/parent.
